Slim, lightweight and multifunctional
AvMap presents EKP V, another step forward in the evolution of aeronautical GPS, a handheld GPS designed not as an accessory but as the heart of TOOLS board.
Truly portable
A 7 "screen bright and usable in portrait or landscape mode, built-in battery, u-blox 6 GPS receiver built-in speakers and only 21 mm thick. EKP V is slim and light, but at the same time very powerful.
Connectivity: The heart of your instrument panel
Thanks to the special Docking Station (optional, not included), panel mount can connect EKP V to several on-board devices at the same time, with a practical and elegant solution (autopilot, XM WX, CAS, video camera, etc. AvMap EFIS .) In this way the wide LCD 7 "becomes multifunctional and capable of displaying various types of data useful for the flight.
Customize your EKP V
Change the location of information on the screen is simple! You can choose which data to display and where: map, taws, weather (North America), vertical profile on map, nav data, HSI, EFIS AvMap (optional). You can even set different PROFILES for different aircrafts with custom settings for taws, selective display and even set the hardware configuration of a button.
Complete yet simple to use
The new keyboard includes a configurable key, a progressive joystick, and a thumbwheel. The new interface also makes it more immediate, such as the search for the name of an airfield is facilitated by the full virtual keyboard that appears on the screen.
Approach procedures and diagrams of Airports
EKP V is preloaded with the approach procedures and diagrams of airports in 40 European countries, provided by Seattle Avionics. Download the first free update to www.seattleavionics.com / ekpV
AvMap A2 ADAHRS
• The AvMap A2 ADAHRS is a compact fixed-install moduleproviding Air Data, Attitude and Heading Reference. It connects to the docking station via USB and provides information that are displayed on the EKP V LCD.
• The module contains solid-state gyros, accelerometers, magnetic field sensors and air data sensors; it should be connected to the aircraft pitot-static system, in order to take full advantage of its functionality.
• Designed for light-sport, ultra light and experimental aircrafts, the small and light weighted module can be installed in any orientation(thereafter a proper calibration procedure must be performed).
