The 3 brothers Eugen, Heinrich and Willi Winter founded the company Gebrüder Winter oHG on 1st October 1931 with the aim to produce and distribute various meteorological instruments. In 1935 the building in the “Hauptstrasse” as place of business and headquarter was bought and extended various times during the following decades.

The young company soon founded the right track by developing and constructing flight instruments in addition to the meteorological instruments at a time when sports flying was still very seldom. Together with the sports flying field, Messrs. Winter were developing more and more and grew to specialists of mechanical flight instruments.

Today, Winter flight instruments are used all over the world. The precision of the instruments and their high reliability as well as the prompt service regarding control and overhaul are estimated by manufacturers and proprietors of planes.
